Move over regular Chia Jam

This version of chia jam is sure to be a kid’s favourite. My kids are health food detectives and the regular chia jams were a no-go with the black seeds. Enter white, ground chia. It has all the benefits of black chia (soluble fibre, healthy fats, a source of vitamins and minerals) but is not as noticeable in foods. 



Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen red raspberries, thawed

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

  • 1 tbsp ground white chia seeds


Instructions:

Blend raspberries, maple syrup, and vanilla in a blender or high-power mixer. Stir in ground white chia seeds which I buy at Stong’s Market and leave for a few hours. Top on pancakes, muffins, toast, or yogurt and enjoy!
