These delicious little bites are perfect for those that want to try something new! Quinoa flakes are high in protein and fibre and are gluten-free! We found these in the cereal section of Strongs Market. Make a batch and throw them in the freezer for a quick snack anytime! 


Makes 24 balls 

  • 1.5 cups quinoa flakes

  • 8 dates, pitted

  • ½ cup hot water

  • ¼ cup ground white chia

  • ¼ cup nut butter

  • 1 tbsp cocoa

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions ​

  1. Add dates and hot water to a high power blender or bullet and let them soften for a minute before you purée them.

  2. In a large bowl add the puréed dates and all other ingredients. Mix thoroughly (I like to use my hands for this). Shape into small 1 inch balls and place on parchment
